The contemporary history of Tunisia is confused with the involvement of women in the public space and its commitment to fully play its role as full citizens. That's what this documentary sets out to demonstrate, first, through a set of portraits of Tunisian belonging to the first generation of women journalists as well as through two particularly important women's magazines: Leila (years thirty) and Faiza (the fifties and sixties).
