El Malga is a quiet village in southern Tunisia that lives on the rhythm of national holidays during which the cultural committee systematically proposes the same program. A phone call from the capital announces the upcoming visit of a German television crew to the region. The cultural committee then decides to give a positive image of its village and its country and engages in a real staging that disguises the reality.
