Momo, a middle-aged alcoholic man, has just lost his mother and is unable to grieve her death. Douja, a young woman who dreams of becoming a singer, runs away from her parents who oppose her ambitions and heads to Tunis to try her luck. Momo loses his voice and wanders along the Bizerte–Tunis highway. Meanwhile, Douja is abandoned at night on the same highway by her boyfriend. They meet. Douja and Momo share their loneliness… for one night.
