Caiman and the Distressed Wetlands

The Pantanal region in Brazil is the largest wetland in the world, and each year it presents a severe ordeal for its inhabitants. The dry season drastically shrinks the wetlands, forcing wildlife into a bitter struggle for survival. Animals must reach one of the few remaining wet areas, knowing there won’t be enough space for everyone… This film follows a young adult caiman: will it find a safe space, survive, and reproduce before the rains return?
