This sailor stands as an inspiring model of ancient Arab civilization, a civilization distinguished by great figures who carried the foundations of culture on their shoulders, each in their own field.
It thus became necessary to revisit our history and extract from it a role model for our youth and children, who are often driven by zeal and a spirit of adventure to seek out famous Western figures to follow.
As a result, Western culture and its notions—both simple and complex—have come to dominate the minds of our Arab youth, infiltrating the fabric of this great homeland with its deeply rooted culture and weakening it from its very foundations.
Based on this idea, the animated series Ibn Majid was created, set in the region of Julfar, in the Arabian Gulf and the Indian Ocean.
