Kays Mejri is a Canadian-Tunisian filmmaker whose work has screened at over 20 film festivals over the past decade. His distinctive directorial style has earned him global recognition, most notably with his contemporary dance film Der Untermensch, which was officially selected for the ‘Best Canadian Short’ category at TIFF, and screened at Cannes Film Festival as part of the ‘Not Short on Talent’ program, presented by Telefilm Canada.He co-produced The Unreturned, a documentary feature that won ‘Best of Fest’ at the Minneapolis Film Festival and screened at the Lincoln Center in NYC as part of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival. Most recently Mejri's short-film Khaos made its debut at the 2015 'Les Rendez Vous du cinéma Québécois,' and his latest short-film When The Sky Began to Scream is set to premiere this December at the 2017 Dubai Film Fest.
