Born in Tangier in 1970. Lives and works in Paris and in Spain. The work of Mounir Fatmi, prolific and taking multiple forms (sculpture, installation, video, writing, drawing, mural painting...), speaks to us of the human, of the culture of each other and how our different cultures, too often, clash until they confront each other. The common thread linking all his creations is the affirmation that only the meeting of cultures and the understanding of the language of the other are able to save the world.
