Biography

holds a master's degree in dramatic arts from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1998, became well-known for playing the role of Choukri Ben Nfisa in the series Maktoub before portraying his own role in the series Casting. In 2012, he presented the segment Coup de gueule on the program Ness Nessma. During Ramadan, he played a new role in the series For the Beautiful Eyes of Catherine. During the 2014 presidential election, he supported candidate Hamma Hammami. In 2015, he was appointed advisor to the Minister of Culture Latifa Lakhdar, in charge of theater and cinema. In 2017, Atef Ben Hassine directed his first TV series, Lemnara, broadcast on El Hiwar El Tounsi, where he was the director, screenwriter, and even an actor. He is married to actress Meriam Ben Hassine, and they have two children, Selmane and Rayane, who appeared in the final scene of the second season of Maktoub, playing the young Choukri Ben Nfisa and Mehrez Ben Nfisa.
