After studying sociology at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Tunis, Walid Tayaa works as an assistant director. He obtained a master's 2 in screenplay from Femis in 2008. He followed documentary training at the National Film School in Copenhagen in 2012 and cultural management in Berlin in 2013.
