Born in 1971 in Istanbul (Turkey). Lives and works in Istanbul and Paris. Ali Kazma, a videographer and photographer, is dedicated to recording human activity, production and creation. Pursuing an almost encyclopedic endeavor, the artist produces works that are analytical and meticulous but at the same time, poetic. His videos raise fundamental questions on the meaning of work and human activity. By pointing his camera on the side of production and not that of consumption, the Turkish artist pays tribute to the worker's gesture, his competence, and his precision.
