Born in 1983 in Majdal Shams (occupied Syrian Golan). Lives and works in Paris. Randa Maddah studied arts in Damascus and Jerusalem. She is a draughtswoman, sculptor and video maker. This Syrian artist, some of whose creations were noticed by the famous British essayist John Berger, develops an art strongly marked by memory and trauma.
