Louay Rezgui is a young filmmaker, editor, and music composer born on November 4, 2001. In 2014, he directed his first short film, "Voyons voir," which was broadcast on Tunisian television. In June 2016, he was a member of the Junior Jury at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France) and the Junior Jury of the "Ta7rik" animation festival (Tunisia). He then joined the El Omran Arts School, specializing in theater, and performed in several plays as an actor. In 2018, his short film "Abweb El hawa" (The Fourth Door) was awarded at the first edition of the ICC-INSAT Célèbre le Cinéma and selected in several festivals, including "The Nights of the Tunisian Short Film -VII Edition" (France) and the "Audiovisual Festival of los Montes de María" (Colombia). In 2020, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management and joined the Institute of Multimedia Arts of Manouba for cinema studies. In 2021, his fifth short film, "200 Millimes," was produced as part of the Ciné Par’court 2021 program funded by the CNCI (National Center for Cinema and Image) and the Goethe Tunis Institute, and was selected for various national and international film festivals, receiving an "Outstanding Award" at the fourth edition of the MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media Festival. In 2023, he graduated from the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts of Manouba in cinema and directed his new short film, "Ness Lokhra" (The Others).
