Wajdi Moussa, born October 8, 1990 in Korba, is a Tunisian screenwriter, director and producer. He graduated from the International Institute of Languages and Communication Arts (IILAC) in Audiovisual Production. He has worked in the film industry since 2018 as an assistant with several directors. In 2019, he produced and directed his first film “The Secret Manuscript”, which was selected in the official competition at the International Cinematographic Days of Heritage Film in Algeria. Released in 2022, his second short film Daghbagi, which traces the life of one of the most important symbols of armed resistance in Tunisia Mohamed Daghbaji. The film won awards at many international festivals such as Al Dhahirah International Film Festival (DIFF) and Al Dakhiliyah International Film Festival (AISHFF) in Oman, Panorama International Short Film Festival (PISFF) and Festival International du Film Documentaire et Court Métrage (FIFDOC) in Tunisia and Benguerir and Taza Festivals in Morocco. Moussa, he is a member of the Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers (FTCC) and the Tunisian Federation of Cinema Clubs (FTCC).
