He joined RTT in 1967 as an assistant director, then as a director of fiction and variety shows. Appointed as director of Tunisie 7, he was eventually entrusted, on August 31, 2007, with managing Canal 21 (later renamed Tunisie 21 and then Télévision Tunisienne 2) to ensure its satellite launch. He handed over his position to Imène Bahroun on January 7, 2012.
